Peter Facinelli Supports Team Edward & Talks Breaking Dawn

Peter Facinelli Supports Team Edward
Peter Facinelli
Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagic

Peter Facinelli is committed to his on-screen family.

As Carlislie, patriarch of the Cullen vampire clan in the
Twilight series, Facinelli is firm when it comes to the Team Edward vs. Team Jacob debate.

"I'm Team Edward, because he's my son and I like to keep it in the family," the actor said during a
video chat series for Tom's of Maine's New Wicked Fresh! Launch.

But the appeal of Edward – played by
Robert Pattinson – goes beyond Facinelli's familial ties to the character. "If I had no association with the films, I'd still be Team Edward," he says. "There's something interesting about living forever, having that eternity."
Facinelli is such a fan of Edward that if he was younger, he says Pattinson might have been out of a job. "If I was maybe 10, 11 years younger – what is Rob like 24? – I'd like to play Edward, But the apple doesn't fall far from the tree so it's pretty cool playing Carlisle," says Facinelli.

As for Pattinson, Facinelli admires and jokes about him like a son. "He's a cool guy, very professional. He's always thinking, he's very intense and he's fun to hang with," Facinelli said, jokingly adding, "I wish he'd bathe once in awhile. I'm kidding! Those are all rumors; I don't know where they start those."

As for any
Breaking Dawn, Facinelli can't spill the beans even if he wanted to. "I'm looking forward to getting the scripts," he said, “I talked to [screenwriter] Melissa Rosenberg and she said she is almost ready for them to be sent out to the cast but she's quite happy with them."

Rob & Kristen Are E! Online's 'King & Queen Of Summer 2010'

And then there were two.

In the beginning we presented you with 32 of the summer's hottest celebrities, 16 men and 16 women, and put the task of crowing a King and a Queen of the hot season in your hands. The votes have been counted and the results are in.
So who in Hollywood truly had the best summer?

Your King and Queen of Summer 2010: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.
(Wow. Original, you guys. Really original.)

Now, several factors helped propel each member of this duo into the top spots.

Not only did they kinda come out as a couple this summer via a very grainy photo, they appeared in Eclipse, one of the year's biggest box-office hits. And they both were filming high profile "next step" movies, Water for Elephants and On the Road.

With those events supporting them, they each did away easily with their compettion to meet at the top.

In the final round, Robert Downey Jr.'s charms proved no match for Rob's. The veteran actor was sent packing after receiving only 31.3 percent of the vote to Pattinson's 68.7. Likewise, Kristen ended final challenger Katy Perry's Teenage Dream domination, grabbing 61.6 percent to Perry's 38.4.

Here's to the winners—and everybody else who gave it a shot.

Better luck in 2011, OK? Rob & Kristen don't have much going on next summer...

Pictures Of Kristen Stewart In New Orleans Filming 'On The Road'

Kristen Stewart arrived on the set of On the Road in New Orleans earlier today in her trademark skinny jeans and a t-shirt. She's back from a few weeks in Argentina to shoot scenes and sightsee during her downtime. Robert Pattinson was allegedly along for the romantic getaway after picking her up from her last shooting location in Canada. The two werespotted sharing a sweet kiss when they reunited up north, though their love is hot any season, not just the Summer. The two recently relocated from their LA hideaway, and Kristen's time in Louisiana can be a good scouting trip for their next spot since parts of Breaking Dawn will be filmed there. Cameras start rolling on the two-part Twilight finale this Fall, and most of you areeating up every detail Melissa Rosenberg will spill as she completes the anticipated scripts.

Sara Gruen, Water For Elephants' Author, Talks About Filming A Cameo Scene With Rob

Sara Gruen gets a star turn in the film version of her novel Water for Elephants, now in post-production.

She got to meet stars Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon. Just as thrilling was being lifted into the air by Tai the elephant, who depicts circus elephant Rosie in the movie, due April 15.

"Her trainer told me to hug her trunk," says Gruen, "so I did, and suddenly I was 7 feet in the air. She gave me many kisses, probably because I always carry mints for my horses, so I was slipping her candy every time I got a chance."

Gruen, her husband and three sons were cast as extras in a scene in which the circus performers and animals parade down the streets in Weehawken, N.J.

"We retook that scene I think 18 times," Gruen recalls. "I'm the one Rob Pattinson (who plays veterinarian Jacob Jankowski) elbows past and says, 'Excuse me, ma'am' to."

As for Christoph Waltz, who plays an abusive animal trainer, Gruen says: "I watched a scene being filmed when he was 'beating' Rosie. From the side of the road, it was very obvious that he wasn't going anywhere near her, but from behind the bank of monitors, it was extremely convincing."

'Breaking Dawn' Birth Scene Will Be 'As Intense' As The Book According To Melissa Rosenberg

Ask any woman who's gone through labor and she'll tell you that it felt like some kind of monster was clawing their way out. Now imagine that just this one time, she was actually right.

That's the dilemma facing producers on the fourth 'Twilight' film, 'Breaking Dawn:' how to portray the book's most famous scene, the intensely painful and shockingly horrific birth of Bella's inhuman daughter Renesmee. Now, according to E! Online, we know the plan -- and it doesn't involve toning anything down.

"We're working on it," screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg said regarding the infamous sequence. "And we're working on it to be as intense as it is in the book."

Just how they're going to pull this off without borrowing the set of 'Piranha 3D' is unclear, but according to Rosenberg, it's not about the gore -- it's about the emotion.

"I don't think it's about the amount of blood you show," she told E! Online, "It's about the intensity of it. It's on their faces. It's all from Bella's point of view when you're seeing what's going. It should feel visceral. I think it's going to be pretty intense."

We're not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. However they end up doing the scene, though, one thing's for sure: they're going to reach a decision pretty fast. "It better damn well be before the beginning of November," Rosenberg agreed, "because that's when we start shooting."

'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn: Part 1' is scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 18, 2011.

Rob & Kristen Move Out Of Bel-Air "Hideaway"?

Kristen Stewart, Robert PattinsonMarion Curtis/PictureGroup
That Robsten love nest that had so many of you Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart fans in a tizzy is no more.
Relieved much?

E! News has learned exclusively that, after renting a secluded guest house in Bel-Air earlier this summer, lovebirds Rob and Kristen have moved out of the property.

A source confirms that Robsten occasionally crashed at the private pad during breaks from their busy shooting
schedules. Pattinson filmed Water for Elephants alongside Reese Witherspoon in Los Angeles in early summer, before spending time with Stewart up in Montreal while she filmed On the Road.Kristen also shot in Argentina and is back to hiding out again.

"They are no longer renting the home," the real estate agent representing the property confirms to E! News, calling the retreat "a lovely place."

Robsten's hang shack was a modern two-story, gated guest house nestled in the woods at the end of a long driveway.

The fancy hideaway was complete with full gourmet kitchen, open living area, office, large upstairs bedroom and master bathroom.

The real estate listing for the house lease even states, "For those desiring privacy & serenity there is no equal. One-of-a-kind hideaway."

Unfortunately, where there's a will there's a way for Twi-hards.

Despite the home's private location, more sources confirm how handfuls of fans and paps would find their way onto the property.

"They didn't stay at the lake house that often," a source tells E! News. "It wasn't as private as they hoped."

We know we showed the pics from the real-estate listing, and now that we hear R and K have surrendered their lakeside abode for good, big mea culpa on our parts if releasing those sent even more crazies their way.

As for the couple's current whereabouts, sources say Robsten have another secret L.A. hideaway that fans have yet to uncover.

We'll never tell where!

(Remember, this is what you asked for, so no complaints.)
