Coming up necks for Twilightbloodsucker Jackson Rathbone: A potentially recurring role on ABC’s No Ordinary Family.
The 25-year-old actor—whose two summer films, Eclipse andThe Last Airbender, collectively grossed nearly $1 billion worldwide—will play Trent Stafford, a high school classmate of Kay Panabaker telepathic Daphne. Trent was recently the victim of a home invasion robbery, and I’m guessing Daphne will join forces with her superhero parents to help catch the perp.
Rathbone last appeared on the small screen in 2009, when he guest-starred as a serial killer with multiple personalities on Criminal Minds.
N.O.F. premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 28.

Reports emerged yesterday that Angelina Jolie will develop a film based on a BBC miniseries called Unforgiven. The potential project would grow from the same partnership behind Jolie’s upcoming Bosnian War movie.
Now rumors are buzzing that Robert Pattinson is also attached to Unforgiven.
“There’s speculation in the wind that Robert Pattinson has been tapped for this project,”reports Lainey Gossip. The actor met late last year with Jolie attorney Robert Offer, observes the site, “so his recent trip to see [her movie] Salt with his agent is suddenly rife with new possibility.”
While it’s always possible a high-profile actor like Pattinson could join Unforgiven — especially, as the site notes, to demonstrate his range — as of now, he is not involved.
A Pattinson insider tells Gossip Cop that rumors connecting him to the film are inaccurate.
Gossip Cop will follow all developments.
Ever since the first "Twilight" film was released — kicking off the phenomenon that has included record-breaking box-office numbers, fainting fans, megawatt premieres, etc. — the suddenly superstar cast has been catapulted into a spotlight none of them saw coming. As such, the actors are very much in demand and currently working on a number of projects.
When Nikki Reed stopped by MTV News recently to discuss her film "Last Day of Summer," we asked her which of her co-stars' upcoming films she's most excited to see.
"All of them," she said. "I love Taylor [Lautner] so much, and I'm so proud of him and what he's doing. He's making a great movie in Pittsburgh right now," she said, referring to the John Singleton-directed action thriller "Abduction."
"I'm excited about Rob [Pattinson]'s movie 'Water for Elephants,' " she added. "I think he's going to be phenomenal in that, and Kristen [Stewart] is doing an amazing film ['On the Road']. Elizabeth Reaser just did a movie called 'Homework' with Michael Angarano, who's a really good friend of mine, and Emma Roberts that I'm excited about."
Reed and her co-stars have so many projects going that she was hard-pressed to remember everyone's work schedule. "We all root for each other," she said.
Speaking of which, the multi-talented and multi-tasking actress, who recently directed Sage's music video for "Edie Sedgwick," lit up at our question about whether she would consider directing a music video for her co-star Jackson Rathbone's band, 100 Monkeys.
"Would I ever! Jackson and I are on the phone every other day, because we're trying to find a movie to do together. I forgot to mention him — his band is skyrocketing. It's amazing," she gushed. "I would be honored. I don't want to take the position: 'Would I ever.' If he would ever let me, yeah. I love them."

Kristen's 32-page Bluewater FAME comic book went on sale this week - and it sold out in one day, with an aggressive overprinting of the title!
Kimberly Sherman, writer of the popular books, "said that Stewart’s versatility and talent might surprise readers who only know her as Bella."
The comic books were offered with two seperate covers (cover A by Juanmar Studios and cover B by comic book artist Randy Green) and gave you a glimpse at a day in the life of Kristen Stewart.
In terms of new printing, the giant sized flipbook with FAME: Kristen Stewart and FAME: Robert Pattinson will be available September 7th. "Both books will be printed in a 48-page comic book and have new material not seen before. The book can be ordered at comic book stores and Amazon" for $6.99.

Seems Robert Pattinson's PDA-heavy trip visit with Kristen Stewart wasn't the only sexy business going down on the Canada set of On The Road.
And before your little Robsten-loving hearts break, we're not talking about anything with Garrett Hedlund or Tom Sturridge. When we say business we mean strictly so:
K.Stew will be able to add to her resume of sexy scenes with this newest flick, as Life & Style reports she "has a threesome with a couple of hotties, asks to watch two people have sex and brags about loving to perform oral sex."
Sexy indeed, but a "shocking change of pace," as the mag puts it? Hardly!
Donning Marylou's poofing panties, as you readers love to call 'em, won't be the first time Kristen takes an on-screen step to the wild side. Hell, it's not even her second time—the gal is practically a pro.
Uh, anyone remember The Runaways? How could you forget!
Kris (alongside underage cutie Dakota Fanning) sparked quite a bit of controversy playing a coke-snorting, lady-lovin' Joan Jett. And the love scene between the two rock 'n' roll babes wasn't exactly PG-rated.
Then there was Welcome to the Rileys, in which Kristen hit the pole to play a down-on-her-luck stripper opposite James Gandolfini. And, trust, she had the bruises to prove it—talk about commitment.
L&S quotes a media expert as saying K. just wants to be taken seriously as an actress so she takes these sexed-up, more adult roles to distance herself from other "bubblegum, cookiecutter teen stars."
Or, here's a shot in the dark: Maybe she takes these roles because she likes to play emotionally complicated, interesting characters because she's a serious actress.
Trust, we're sure K. wasn't skimming through the script of On the Road (the friggin' Jack Kerouac classic for those of you whose only daily literature is The Awful Truth) or The Runaways saying, "Damn, I hope this has a good sex scene!"
Please, give the girl more credit than that. Though, might not be a bad thought when she gets the script for Breaking Dawn.
Is complaining the new trend? Seems Taylor Lautner thinks it is.
Apparently Lautner has banned, well, himself from appearing on Ryan Seacrest's radio show On-Air With Ryan Seacrest, Seacrest announced on the radio yesterday morning.
Ummm, we're pretty sure that, right there with Oprah, Seacrest is one you probably don't want to piss off. What's going on with our darling Twi-babe—he hanging around Nikki Reed lately, or something?
Seacrest told the story yesterday that after asking Lautner to appear on his morning radio show based in L.A. (at the request of tons of emails from fans of the Twilight star, no less), Lautner's people responded with something along the lines of, "He's too busy to even think about that."
Seacrest stated he had been "banned" by Camp Lautner.
And so Seacrest joke-vented, citing that he had featured Lautner on the program before the dude became a true superstar. He said he did the same thing for stars like Taylor Swift, the Jonas Brothers and even Justin Bieber (should we say Justin Bieber-Jolie-Pitt?), all of whom Seacrest says returned the favor down the line and remained loyal to the radio maven.
But Lautner doesn't appear to be too keen on repaying Ryan with loyalty and muffin baskets.
Let us pose the question: Has Taylor Lautner always been this huffy and puffy? There's nothing more unattractive than a dude whose feuds (like his new lawsuit) are equal in quantity to the number of shirtless pics he has.
Surprise, surprise, we haven't yet heard a statement from Lautner's crew commenting on either the trailer trouble or this new little tiff. But you know once we do, he'll probably complain about that, too.
Or are we getting too bitchy, also? Ab-tastic food for thought, at the very least.
After spending night and day together for months at a time, the cast and crew of a big-budget movie series can grow very close. Filming each installment in the franchise is a little like a family reunion—at least that’s how "Twilight" star Nikki Reed sees it.
The "Twilight Saga" actress told MTV News that she’s looking forward to filming "Breaking Dawn" because she’ll get to hang out with her costars again.
"[I’m looking forward to] going back to be with the family, because we really all love each other a lot and I think we’re sad that this is coming to an end," she said.
The life of every cast member has changed drastically since they made the first "Twilight" movie in Oregon. For one thing, they’re all major movie stars now. But a couple of years ago, they weren't as busy attending film premieres in front of thousands of screaming fans or starring in indie flicks on their down time.
"After the first [movie], we were all kind of sitting around L.A. going, 'Hey, aren't we supposed to work a lot? Isn’t this supposed to open doors?'"
Obviously, those doors were kicked wide open after "Twilight"'s mega success.
"This year seems to have gone by really fast and we've all gone off and had other jobs," Nikki said. "We spent a lot of time together, and in this past year we haven't really seen one another. I haven't really seen anybody."

Still, the final Edward-v.-Damon showdown trumped ‘em all. Our polls were open for 72 hours, and midway through the final day of voting, the virile vampires were separated by less than 200 votes. With six hours remaining, and our finalists still locked in a statistical dead-heat, EW.com’s Sexy Beast special-ops team decided to hide our poll results, and began to plan a special issue of Entertainment Weekly commemorating a tournament that had becoming nothing short of an Internet sensation. When the blood, sweat, and broken fangs were wiped away, it was Damon Salvatore who eked out a mild upset victory over Edward Cullen by a margin of 138,630 to 134,728, a difference of just 3,902 votes.
But he's still the sexiest to us! Team Edward:
