Kristen Stewart To Cover Elle UK July Issue 'Kristen Stewart'

Since Twilight fever swept the nation, we've had our eyes fixed on Kristen Stewart's wardrobe. On the red carpet she takes on daring looks that most Hollywood stars would shy away from - stand-out looks have come from Proenza SchoulerBurberry, and graphic Pucci numbers. Off-duty, however, Kristen quickly ditches the heels and minis in favour of jeans and Converse. But whether Kristen's wearing a strapless Oscar de la Renta gown or checked shirt and leather leggings, her smouldering eye and rock chick attitude give this rising star an achingly cool edge.

3 New Robsten Photos Together In Beverly Hills - Date Unknown

These new pics of Rob & Kristen together just surfaced today.  Apparently, they were taken somewhere in Beverly Hills.  The date of them is unknown right now, but judging purely based on Kristen's hair style & length, they had to have been taken some time before she got the Joan Jett mullet.  Sooo...probably during New Moon filming in Vancouver back in March-May 2010.  Cute nonetheless!

Interview Excerpt With Kristen Stewart From Flaunt Magazine

'Eclipse' Stars Kellan Lutz & Xavier Samuel Pose For VMAN Magazine's 'Hot Hollywood Hunks' Issue

Vman Magazine picked what they consider five of Hollywood's hottest Men for their next issue (on sale April 20), and not surprisingly the man who makes showering an art form, Kellan Lutz hit the top of the list (we are guessing since he snagged the cover). Other hotties with a body include Twilight's new villain Xavier Samuel.

Sorry, we still don't dig Kellan Lutz with his bleached Emmett Cullen hair, but we certainly dig this photo of the man in a suit jacket with no shirt underneath (scandalous!) giving the camera a saucy look. It's no Calvin Klein underwear ad, but we'll take what we can get.

Hot Aussie Xavier Samuel, soon to be seen in "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," wears a "Miami Vice"-style white blazer over a T-shirt. Sounds cheesy in theory, looks pretty fantastic in practice. But boys should probably know that this is a look not everyone can pull off. You kind of have to be a vampire heartthrob with perfect white teeth. Just saying.

Screw Robsten, Summit Suits "Concerned" About Eclipse

Twilight, Eclipse, Poster

Bad news from Deep Twi: Eclipse's heat is being, well, eclipsed!

We know the studio has tried to assure fans reshoots don't mean trouble (which is usually true), but we're hearing that may not entirely be the case. It is stress city over at Summit...

Execs over at our fave Twilight studio are "concerned" about the third film and how it's going to be received by fans. With David Slade directing, Twi-hards have been nervous that Eclipse would be all action and very dark...which is all true.

And while we've heard positive things thus far from people who have seen some Eclipse clips, the studio is semi freaking out.

"It's just not all there," is how one of our sources put it.

Basically everyone is frantic that the movie isn't going to be good enough to go on June 30. The reshoots, or "pickup shots," are a normal thing to do, yes, but there's a lot riding on these to make the film ready.

Nerves aren't uncommon before a major blockbuster release, especially when they have to try and top the hundreds of millions they made last time. What has Summit more worried is the fact that we're all worried!

When we asked one of our studio moles for the latest love update on Rob and Kristen, here was our source's response:

"Who knows? Who cares? It's not an issue right now. We're just trying to contain this [notion that something's wrong with the film]. It's just pickups, nothing more, but there's this other perception out there."

Oh yeah. Summit is stressed! But one thing they aren't stressed about, we're told, is Slade. We hear the rumors that David was on the outs with Summit are "not true" and that everyone really enjoyed working with him. Let's just hope the personal lovefest makes for a good movie, ya know?

So back to what most of you care about—Rob and Kristen (who, yes, are together together): The studio's over it...for now.

"Oh, I just could care less anymore," vents our insider. "Nobody here does. Who knows what they're going to do."

Kristen Stewart Says Bella's Not As 'Tortured' In 'Eclipse'

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in "Eclipse"

Kristen Stewart had an 11-month break between finishing the shoot for "Twilight" in April 2008 and beginning "New Moon" last year. Production on "Eclipse" (opening June 30), though, kicked off just seven weeks after the conclusion of "New Moon." And when KStew returned to slip back into the character of Bella Swan, she found the vampire-loving teen had a new sense of purpose.

It was that resolve, Stewart reveals in Entertainment Weekly's summer movie preview issue, that made the character much easier to play. "I wasn't as tortured as I was on 'New Moon.' Bella really knows what she wants in 'Eclipse.' She's not just a dumb kid talking because she's in love."

That's not to suggest that playing a more-focused Bella was a breeze. Though the teen matures over the course of the story, graduating from high school and getting engaged to Robert Pattinson's Edward, at one point she is pulled back into the romantic embrace of Taylor Lautner's werewolf Jacob. That scene was difficult, both because Stewart sees Lautner as something of a younger brother and because she understands that Bella truly loves Edward.

"It felt really weird kissing someone else as Bella. I was like, 'What the hell are you doing?' " she said. "It was a really strange experience — as it should have been."

And then there's an experience that fans have been looking forward to for years — one not strange at all but rather a long time coming: Edward and Bella's engagement. Producer Wyck Godfrey said the scene will more than fulfill expectations. "She walks into Edward's room, and there's a beautiful four-poster bed, and it's like, 'Wow, here we go!' "(TDG Note: SQUEE!!!)

Kellan Lutz Set To Play Action Hero In 'Deathgames', Co-Starring Samuel L. Jackson

Samuel L. Jackson and Kellan Lutz

Every couple of years, there has to be a movie in which the action hero of the moment is some kind of innocent player in a game where everyone is trying to kill him.  DEATH RACE and GAMER are the two most recent and now we can add DEATHGAMES  to that list.  But this time, instead of going with a proven action star like Jason Statham or Gerard Butler, they’re going with Twilight’s Kellan Lutz to headline.  He’ll be joined in the film by Samuel L. Jackson.  In an interview one time, Jackson once said that he never said no to job offers and I think this is proof.  Visual effects guru Jonah Loop will be making his directorial debut.

The film is about a young man (Lutz) that is kidnapped and forced to participate in gladiator-style battles for the online fans.  Jackson will play the role of evil mastermind/puppeteer that oversees the operation.  I don’t know anything about this, other than what you just read, but I can bet there will be a big, opening action scene (where he gets kidnapped), two battle scenes in the middle and then a big showdown at the end where he kills the evil mastermind.  Because that’s how all of these movies end up.

'Twilight' Cruise Sets Sail This Summer - Will It Be Cool Or Lame?

The Alaska Twilight Cruise and Convention at Sea was scheduled to set sail in 2009, but was later postponed due to the economy. Now the week-long oceanic trip, departing from Seattle, has been rescheduled for August 8-15, 2010, but will the experience be cool or corny?

The cruise (not pictured) isn't affiliated with Summit Entertainment, but fans of the Twilight series will be able to meet stars from the films. However, don't expect Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner or Kristen Stewart. Instead, the cruise will host Alex Meraz (Paul in Twilight), Michael Welch (Mike Newton in New Moon) and Jodelle Ferland (Bree in Eclipse).

Cruisers will get to have a Q&A session and photo shoot with the actors, and get to take part in a Twilight-themed costume ball. While you're playing vampire trivia and entering on-board contests, the ship will navigate around Alaska, hitting Glacier Bay, Sitka, Ketchikan, and even Victoria, British Columbia. Like most cruises, there will be plenty of off-boat things to do, including river rafting, helicopter rides to the glacier fields, horse-back riding, kayaking, whale watching, and more.

But the experience will cost you. According to its website, prices start at $1300 per person (including taxes and the $150 registration fee), but that's only if two people are booked for the same room. Super fans can add a 3-night pre-cruise tour of Forks and Seattle, which starts at $499 per person. If Twi-fans go all in for the whole 10-day trip, it would cost $1800, at the very least.

So is the cruise worth it? It might be cool to hang out with Jodelle -- by then, Eclipse will have opened in theaters and Stephenie Meyer's new novella will have been out for two months, so fans can ask the actress for her perspective on Bree. But would you spend that much money to meet three actors from the film series and hang out with other Twi-hards for 7-10 days? You tell us.

'Twilight' To Be Parodied On 'The Simpsons' By 'Harry Potter'

I don't know if you readers are familiar with SEO (search engine optimization), but that headline is a dream come true. You've got two of the biggest movie franchise phenomenons currently around combining with the longest-running American sitcom/animated series/primetime series (all three categories). As a "Simpsons" fan since day one of the series, it's also a great synergy of interests -- professional and non-professional -- on a personal level.

Okay, here's the news: EW's Hollywood Insider is exclusively reporting that "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe will lend his voice to "The Simpsons" next season. Not just any episode either: he'll appear in one part of next year's "Treehouse of Horror XXI" triptych, the series' yearly Halloween special. And the part of the episode he appears in will in fact be a "Twilight" parody. Hell, there are even a few plot details. Cue brain exploding... now.

In his appearance, Radcliffe will play Edmund, a boy vampire whom Lisa falls for. Unfortunately for the Twilight-crossed lovers, Homer and Dracula -- Edmund's dear, old dad -- don't approve of the union, and they endeavor to put a stop to it. Obviously not a direct spoof of the "Twilight" plot.

"The Simpsons" has thus far left Stephenie Meyer's blazing hot vampire series alone, but Harry Potter has been targeted before. One of the segments in "Treehouse of Horror XII," titled "Wiz Kids," saw Lisa and Bart attending Springwart's School of Magickry, where they team up with Harry Potter (not voiced by Radcliffe) to fight C. Montgomery Burns in the guise of the evil Lord Montymort. There's also the fictional "Angelica Button" book series -- featuring a wizened old sorcerer named Headmaster Greystash (a reference to Hogwarts' headmaster Albus Dumbledore) -- which has popped up in a couple of episodes.

"Twilight" has remained untouched until now, however. It probably has something to do with the fact that the phenomenon triggered in large part by the movie's release is only a year old. It's relatively common knowledge among fans that an average episode of "The Simpsons" takes roughly nine months to produce, so "Twilight"'s rapid rise in popularity explains why we'll only just be seeing a "Simpsons" nod -- a series known for staying culturally relevant -- next season.

Are you psyched for a "Harry Potter"-meets-"Twilight" union on "The Simpsons"? Do you think we'll see some reference to Cedric Diggory/Robert Pattinson's participation in both franchises?

Robert Pattinson takes Kristen Stewart to visit his parents

Twilight couple jet into London together
Friday, 16 April 2010

Robert Pattinson took his girlfriend Kristen Stewart home to see his parents this week.
The Twilight couple flew into the UK together for a low-key romantic break.

And they were spotted visiting Robert's folks at their west London home.

Last week, Kristen jetted to Budapest to celebrate her 20th birthday with Robert

He has been shooting the movie Bel Ami in Hungary.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is out in cinemas on 9 July.

TDG Note: Take the story with a GOS given the source.  We know that R & K are together in the UK, but there are no pics of them other than the airport arrival earlier this week.

Taylor Lautner's 'Abduction' Love Interest Found: 'Blind Side' Star Lily Collins

It's been a while since we heard any news updates on the production of Taylor Lautner's "Abduction." In February it was announced that Lionsgate had bought up the film (which already had Taylor attached to it) for $1 mil, and in late March the Los Angeles Times reported that "Boyz n the Hood" director John Singleton had signed on to helm the film.

As a quick refresher, "Abduction" follows the story of a man who discovers the parents who raised him aren't his biological father and mother, and when he reaches out to his real ones, he gets caught up in a web of espionage and intrigue and has to run for his life. The film is being classified as a thriller, which is a first for both Taylor and John.

But, finally, new casting news has reached our ears. Deadline: Hollywood got the scoop that Lily Collins will be playing Taylor's girlfriend, who will be caught up in the web of government secrets along with her bf. You know Lily from her role as Sandra Bullock's daughter in "The Blind Side," and she also just finished wrapping "Priest" with Stephen Moyer and Cam Gigandet. We don't have much to say about Lily getting cast except for the fact she'll be a newbie to the catch-me-if-you-can thriller genre as well.

Filming on "Abduction" is set to start in 12 weeks on location in Pittsburgh, Penn., Deadline reports. Lionsgate seems to want filming to get wrapped and out of the way over the summer so there will be no conflicts with Taylor's fall commitment to "Breaking Dawn." "Abduction" is slated for a 2012 release date.

Are you excited to see Lily Collins opposite Taylor Lautner in "Abduction"? Have you been a fan of her previous work?

New Edward/Bella Picture & Article In HQ From Entertainment Weekly's Summer Movie Preview Issue

Relax! Eclipse Reshoots Don't Mean Trouble

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Eclipse
Most films have reshoots. Why should the Twilight series be an exception?

While rumors insinuating behind-the-scenes drama and studio disappointment with director David Slade have Twi-hards in a tizzy, the production of Eclipse is running according to plan, a rep for Summit tells E! News.

The studio wouldn't confirm when the cameras would begin rolling again, or if Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner would be reporting back to Vancouver, but the spokesman assures us they won't be redoing any of the book's crucial scenes.

"They are not technically reshoots but rather 'pickup shots,' " the rep insists. "They have been planned for several movies and are normal in the filmmaking process (as it happens on tons of movies). They are not shooting anything regarding meadow or action scenes."

Slade, he assures us, will be directing them and should make fans proud.

"The studio is very happy with Slade and some internally think this film could very well be the best of the three."

New Interview With Kristen Stewart On The Set Of 'The Runaways'

Eclipse Comes In At #2 On Fandango's "The Five Biggest Box Office Summer Blockbusters Of 2010"

2.     The Twilight Saga: Eclipse -- Though it’s not in the top spot, Eclipse – and its positioning in theaters right before the July 4th weekend – should easily take the number two spot in box office totals this summer. Its predecessor killed at the box office, taking home all sorts of records, so we’ll look for Eclipse to do the sort of thing. Considering each Twilight film does better than the one before it, Eclipse could do even more business than we’re anticipating.

Robert Pattinson Still An 'SNL' Wish For Lorne Michaels

Twi-hards, keep your fingers crossed: Robert Pattinson may yet host "Saturday Night Live."

"SNL" creator Lorne Michaels told OK! Magazine that he's all on board getting the "Twilight" star to host the show.

“We asked him this season,” Michaels told the magazine. “And then he did Jimmy’s show and that went well for him."

Last year, he told the same magazine he wasn't sure if Pattinson would make a good hot. "You never know," he told the magazine.

Kristen Stewart Featured In EW's Summer Movie Preview For Eclipse - "It felt really weird kissing someone else as Bella."

Image and video hosting by

For Kristen Stewart, who reprises her role as Bella in Twilight: Eclipse, locking lips with costar Taylor Lautner (who plays her pal Jacob) felt odd—not just because she thinks of Lautner as a kid brother, but because Bella’s heart truly belongs to vampire hottie Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). “It felt really weird kissing someone else as Bella,” says Stewart. “I was like, ‘What the hell are you doing?’ It was a really strange experience—as it should have been.”

Hmmm...not sure what to make of Mr. Slade's tweet from this morning.  It seems very tongue-in-cheek to me, no?

Confirmed: 'Twilight Saga: Eclipse' Doing Pickups With David Slade, Not Reshoots

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse."

Rumors and gossip have followed the "Twilight Saga" ever since the first film created an uproar at the box office a year and a half ago.  From the personal relationship between the stars to who will direct which sequel, it's been a non-stop job for Summit Entertainment to put out one fire after another.  That continued today.

This morning Canadian gossip site Lainey Gossip
reported that reshoots of two key scenes for the forthcoming "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" were occurring in Vancouver next week.  The pundit also floated that because of "creative differences" with the studio director David Slade wouldn't oversee the reshoots and that former helmers Catherine Hardwicke ("Twilight") and Chris Weitz ("New Moon") could step in instead.  Because the outlet is based in the city and has been correct on a number stories regarding the franchise before, many media took the report with a hint of credibility which was a mistake.
HitFix has learned that Slade, who is currently overseeing the film's score in London, would be headed to Vancouver himself to film what are obvstentively pick up shots, not reshot scenes.  Pick up shots are cut into already completed scenes and can be necessary because of anything from bad lighting, a faulty print or a missing expression or line that was determined in editing.  Reshoots insinuate a completely new scene being inserted into a picture.
Additionally, a Summit spokesperson told HitFix that the shoot has been planned for months, the picture is not in "trouble" and, in fact, the studio thinks it may be the best of the three so far.  Considering, this writer has heard praise for "Eclipse's" script, that's easy to believe. The spokesperson also noted that reshoot timing is three days or less, is not a lot of material and furthermore, they do not involve the meadow scene or any action scenes whatsoever.

Fans will be able to decide their opinion on Slade's vision for "Eclipse" when the film opens nationwide on June 30.

Gossip Cop Sets Record Straight With Official Word On "Eclipse" Reshoots

A report widely disseminated earlier today made big waves by claiming that “key scenes” in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse need to be reshot in Vancouver, and speculated that the development indicated production on the June release was troubled.

Gossip Cop looked into it, and we have the exclusive answers.

First, regarding the implication that these reshoots were unexpected, an authorized rep for the studio tells Gossip Cop, “The reshoot was planned for months, like it is with the majority of films.”

Let Gossip Cop settle some other false rumors.

Contrary to today’s inaccurate speculation, “creative differences” have not led Summit to consider bringing in another director for the reshoots.

David Slade is 100% directing them, like he did the entire movie, and the studio is “very happy” with his direction of the film, which internally is believed to be the best of the series.

As for the timing, speculation that there will be three rushed days of 18-hour shoots is incorrect. The Summit rep tells Gossip Cop that it’s a two-and-a-half to three-day shoot, and that “very little” actually has to be reshot.

But the biggest misconception concerned the specific scenes alleged to be those in need of a reshoot. The rep confirms to Gossip Cop, “None of the meadow or action scenes are being reshot.”

Asked to comment on today’s alarmist rumors, the authorized rep for the studio tells Gossip Cop, “Reports much like the one earlier today are ploys to drive traffic without any merit and without any support from the studio on what is actually going on or true.”

Gossip Cop will continue to bring accurate “Eclipse” production news before the film’s June theatrical release.

Kristen Stewart's Very Hot Plans For The Weekend - Coachella With Dakota

Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning

Kristen Stewart is just like Britney Spears.

OK, we kid.

But, like the pop princess did last weekend, Ms. Twilight is headed for the scorchin' California desert in a few days…

I hear Stewart and her New Moon/Runaways costar Dakota Fanning are planning a trip to the Coachella Music Festival. Their itinerary apparently includes a stop at the Lacoste pool party on Saturday at a private estate in Indio, Calif. DJs Chris Holms and Ana Calderon will be spinning the tunes. [UPDATE: Fanning's rep told us this afternoon that she is not going to the music fest now. We'll keep you posted!]

Other celebs expected include Stewart's Into the Wild costar Emile Hirsch, Rachel Bilson and Lake Bell.

We doubt this will happen, but we're hoping Stewart and Fanning plan to show off some of their vocal chops in a private on-site recording studio as part of The Voice Project, a group dedicated to promoting peace and empowering women in war-torn Uganda.

FYI to Kristen: Leave the black hoodie at home, but bring plenty of sunblock. It's expected to hit a high out there of 89 degrees Saturday.

Twilight Too Taboo For You?!

Twilight, movie poster

It's a dark day for Twilight...or not.

Stephenie Meyer's series has landed at No. 5 on the American Library Association's Most Frequently Challenged Books of 2009 list, which means only four other novels had more teachers and parents whining about its content.

We can probably blame this largely on the whole vampires and werewolves thing. J.K. Rowling's Harry

Potter series tops the list for the decade, so clearly mystical themes are a bit taboo for the card catalog set.

They're listed as occult and Satanism, after all.

Ironically, the ALA also blames the "sexually explicit" nature between Bella and Edward as one of its downsides (even though, in truth, they promote abstinence better than Bristol Palin).

Still, landing on a list has to be seen as more of a compliment than a blow to the franchise. Would you include New Moon among controversial classics like The Catcher in the Rye, To Kill a Mockingbird or The Color Purple?

In case you were curious, Lauren Myracle's TTYL young adult series written in the form of instant message conversations tops the list of written complaints received.
